ABOUT ME

I graduated from Wichita State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing. Since then I have been working as a videographer, photographer, social media manager, and digital marketing specialist. I am constantly growing and expanding my knowledge of the creative industry to stay up to date and ensure positive growth within my community. Whether that comes to identifying simple Tik Tok trends or managing multi-thousand dollar advertising campaigns, I am able to adjust my strategy and find solutions to help our brand succeed.

EXPERIENCE

Photographer

2015 – PRESENT

Photography has been a hobby of mine since high school and has since turned into a side business. I photograph families, seniors, personal commissions, and style photo shoots for myself and others. Photography is one of my favorite ways to express myself, and I enjoy the fact that I am able to put my own style into all of my photoshoots.

Media Buyer

September 2022 – PRESENT

I currently work at Barkley Advertising as an associate media buyer. I am enjoying getting to know and work with all departments to pull our red thread through all aspects of our work. I create and run social and programmatic ad campaigns for my clients and provide optimizations and feedback based on their goals and expectations.

Social Media Coordinator

April 2021 – September 2022

I started working at Genesis Health Clubs as a photographer, videographer, & social media coordinator. Since starting I have been able to grow my skills in data analysis, discovering trends, and paid advertisement. I now conceptualize, create, and execute all content for the company. I create and run all ad campaigns, and manage social media pages for the Genesis cooperate office and all locations. I have also worked closely with the Genesis Foundation (GFFT) raising donations, planning fundraisers, and promoting their efforts and successes through email and social media.

Graphic Design Assistant

July 2018 – July 2020

During the last two years of college, I worked as the graphic design assistant for Shocker Printing Solutions at Wichita State University. My usual workday consisted of creating staff business cards and stationery and designing event flyers, posters, and other commissioned work. During the summer of 2019, I was able to head the rebranding of our entire department including choosing a new name, logo, and brand for our print shop.

Social Media Management

January 2018 – May 2019

During this time in my sorority, I was in charge of all forms of social media and oversaw the social media team. I created planned posts and the posting schedule. I also worked with the executive board to develop marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Alpha Phi events through social media and events around campus. In 2018 my sorority won the National Excellence in Social Media and Marketing award due to the changes and ideas I implemented while managing our accounts.

Membership Marketing Chair

 January 2017 – December 2017

Throughout my time in my sorority, Alpha Phi, I was able to gain real-world experience by holding many different positions. Being the Target Membership Marketing chair, I was a part of the recruitment team and worked closely with them and the marketing team to create social media campaigns directed towards the type of members and audience we wanted in order to enhance our community.

Child Care Provider

August 2017-August 2018

I was a childcare provider for a family with four children, I learned a lot about responsibility, time management, and the importance of keeping a lighthearted and open mind. I drove the children to and from school, practices, and different events. I was with them almost every day helping the family schedule their time and keep all aspects of their lives organized and manageable.

Marketing Internship

August 2016 – December 2016

I was the marketing intern for Goodwill Industries Corporate Office in Wichita. During my time working there I designed merchandise, managed social media accounts, helped design promotional materials, and organized fundraising events. I was also able to visit many of Goodwill’s facilities and learn about the programs and services they provide as a nonprofit.
